Upcoming Events:

February 28: Siberia Deportations Presentation - During the month of February 1940, approximately 1.5 million Poles from Eastern Poland were deported to Siberia by the communist Russian government. To commemorate this tragedy and the heroic fate of many, we will hold a special event on Sunday, February 28th at 12:15 p.m. Our Parishioner, Mr. Henryk Marganski, who survived those deportations, will share his stories in the Polish Heritage Center.

March 14:  Give Hope, Make a Sandwich - Social Justice Committee invites everyone to join us on Sunday, March 14th at 10:15 a.m. in the kitchen of the Polish Heritage Center in order to make sandwiches that will be served to our friends at Karen House, a shelter for homeless women and children. Food and supplies will be provided by the Social Justice Committee. Please bring your hands and good spirit.

March 20-21: Blessing of the Fathers - Every year on March 19th we celebrate the Feast Day of St. Joseph, Husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Guardian of Jesus. During all Masses on the weekend of the 20th and 21st of March, we will pray through the intercession of St. Joseph and offer a special blessing to all fathers present.

March 26: Communal Penance Service - We encourage all to prepare spiritually for Easter by celebrating the Sacrament of Penance. Every Saturday there is an opportunity for confession from 3:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Additionally on Friday, March 26th there will be several priests listening to confessions from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. At 7:00 p.m. a Communal Penance Service will be celebrated during which, as an alternative to individual confession, General Absolution will be offered.

March 28: Palm Sunday Egg Hunt - On Sunday, March 28, a traditional "Easter" Egg Hunt will take place on the church campus, following 11:00 a.m. Mass. Since many of our Parishioners travel on the Easter weekend, it is has been renamed “Palm Sunday Egg Hunt”. We invite children of ages 1 through 12 to participate in this fun event. Please bring your own basket.

April 3: Blessing of Easter Food - On Holy Saturday, April 3rd, at three different times: 11:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. the Blessing of Easter Food will be offered in our church. This tradition called Swieconka is one of the most enduring and beloved Polish traditions. Baskets containing a sampling of Easter foods are brought to church to be blessed. The basket is traditionally lined with a white linen or lace napkin and decorated with sprigs of boxwood, the typical Easter evergreen.

Welcome!

In Poland, where I came from, we say "When Guest arrives, God arrives" and this is the rule by which I strive to live as a person as well as a pastor of a growing Catholic Parish of more than 500 households. We cherish our Polish roots while celebrating diversity of all who enter. All are welcome at St. Stanislaus and all are needed to spread the Good News of God's unconditional love. Here you can find out what is happening in our Parish in coming days and weeks, as well as familiarize yourself with our story. Make yourself at home, and come back often!
